Kiln wash – Premium

High temperature kiln wash. 150 grams. Mix with water and apply with a brush. To protect kiln brick and refractory firing surfaces.  Contains two types of kaolin and alumina to minimise flaking and cracking.

It can also be used to protect a tarnishing metal (for example copper) from producing firescale during firing. For this purpose a little enamelling gum can also be added to the mixture. Let dry before firing.

Contains silica, a very fine powder which should not be inhaled since it can cause silicosis after long term exposure.
